Early days
Abigail WIlliams was born to Harry & Liz Williams on October 1, 2000. Always a bit rambunctious and mischievous, Abi adored and was adored by her father. Harry brought his daughter everywhere, taking her to the pub at 10 for her first drink & teaching her all the tricks of his not so legal trades. Abi excelled in distracting her dad’s victims, ensuring they never noticed their wallets and riches being lifted. Due to Harry’s proclivity for mischief, the Williams’ family relocated often to escape the authorities. Abi always found it easy to make friends, though most friendships came & went as they moved throughout the UK. Once Abi had completed school, she decided to take some of her ill-gained funds & head out to Liberty City,simply for a break & to experience what the world had to offer.
Upon arrival in Liberty City, Abi began growing & selling a bit of weed here & there, yet somehow remaining free of the scrutiny of the authorities. One fateful afternoon, whilst zipping past Stab City, heading north on Calafia Road, Abi had a vehicle accident with someone traveling southbound. Once the wreckage of their vehicles came to a stop, both drivers got out and began to debate as to who was at fault. Due to the other driver’s vehicle being disabled, Abi offered him a lift. “I’m Rizzle” , “Abi”. From that moment, Abi & Rizzle were inseparable, getting up to all sorts of adventures, mostly of the illegal variety. Though they enjoyed a short lived romance, they were always better as partners in crime.
Over time they made some friends interested in causing a bit of chaos & criminal activity. Eventually they began referring to their little group as “The Misfitz”. Their members fluctuated from a small few to around fifteen at the highest. After a bit of unwanted trouble in Liberty City, The Misfitz resettled in Los Santos. Not long after arriving, they were met by someone, later found to be a member of The Cartel. Though they were first charged with producing meth for the Cartel, they were eventually trusted with running guns for the group. Contacts were made and a small amount of weapons were sold. It wasn’t long however that many of the Misfitz decided they did not care for Los Santos, and over the next few weeks, one by one, they left. Abi was alone once again.
She, at first, resigned herself to the fact that the arrangement with the Cartel was forfeit due to the departure of the rest of her group. However, the Cartel accepted Abi’s willingness to continue in this endeavor and Abi began to expand her connections in the city. It wasn’t long before the orders started rolling in. The money was plentiful and seemingly endless, before long Abi had a million dollars in the bank with no end of this fortune in sight.
Things began to get tense for Abi, once the Cartel brought in someone they called “The Fixer” to ensure the security of their business. The Fixer said he would be going with Abi to all her future deals. Abi began to get nervous and worried about her safety. One evening as she was heading off for the night, The Fixer said to her “a word of advice, get out of this business as soon as possible. The longer you stay the more likely this ends in prison or death” It struck Abi very odd, that any of the Cartel would be worried about her, as they always made it clear that everyone was replaceable.
Abi was met with a dark chat message from The Fixer on the day of December 9th. “Romeo is dead” She had no idea who that was. However, The Fixer soon revealed that Romeo was Abi’s primary Cartel contact, the one person she’d been meeting with for months. The Fixer then told her a meeting was urgently needed. Knowing full well what she may be walking into, Abi went ahead with the meeting. When she arrived, she was met by The Fixer. He again warned her to get out of the business. It was then that The Fixer took off his mask & turned off his voice changer. “Rizzle?” Abi was stunned. Rizzle told Abi all the terrible things that the Cartel had done to him over the past 6 months; torturing him, implanting a tracker in his brain,forcing him to undergo rigorous physical trials, and eventually sending him to various locations to work as their executioner.
On December 14th, 2022, Abi and Smack were down at the dock, checking inventory, Abi carelessly showing off some heavy weaponry, when suddenly they were surrounded by the LSPD. Abi & Smack were brought in & heavily interrogated. Abi had previously given some information to Don Chester, a detective within the LSPD. She had built trust with him, as he had once helped her during a difficult time with some gang members. Now, with the news of Rizzle’s absence, she wished to bring the Cartel to their knees now. Abi gave the investigators unending amounts of information. They offered her the deal of protection, and though she doubted there was any possible means of escape from her situation, she took the deal. Abi & Smack were given money for disguises, plenty of food, and allowed to keep a few weapons. They hid out in a motel in Paleto for weeks, waiting for a sign of safety. It was during their exile that Abi & Smack fell in love. They vowed to be at each other’s side no matter what the future held, and so they were.
Smack, however, was not the only person vying for Abi’s attention during this time, as shortly before she had her breakdown, Abi had begun to see Andre Immelman, a detective with the LSPD. They had originally met a short time before Abi was busted for gun running, when they shared some flirty banter in the cells during an arrest. After going into hiding, Abi decided to take Andre up on his offer of having a drink. They met out near Raton Canyon, had some whiskey and talked for hours. Abi was immediately smitten but made clear that she was not looking for a relationship due to her current situation. And despite the best efforts made by them both, it was quickly very apparent that they were falling in love. And soon after, Andre made the decision to leave the LSPD and devote his time and energy into protecting Abi and trying to help her escape their threat.
For a short time, Abi decided to attempt living in disguise. Using the name Mia Parker, Abi took a job at Bean Machine. There she was able to feel a bit more normal and free, making friends surprisingly with another police officer, Jack Dryver. They went for drinks a couple of times, becoming quite close, through the sharing of their respective traumatic stories. They began going on adventures up into the hills near the winery. One evening, as they sat under the stars, a lone rabbit came very near. They were both excited to see such innocence and beauty. They named the rabbit Benjamin Bunny and they made sure to take a trip out to the Grapeseed farms to gather fresh treats for him. Though their friendship was unlikely, Abi adored Jack, confiding in him and allowing a pure, kind side of herself to show. Abi loved Jack. Though fearing he did not feel the same, and also fearing that she would disrupt their perfect friendship, she kept her feelings quiet.
Abi was enraged at what they had done to Rizzle, after all she just thought that he had abandoned her like the others did. She had no idea of this fate. She only knew now that she must help get him out of this life, though he said there’s no saving him. Abi enlisted the help of her friend Smack, who became Abi’s self appointed bodyguard, refusing to leave Abi’s side. During this time, Benny Beever & Victoria Addams, two of the Misfitz crew, returned to town, and upon learning of the situation, vowed to help their friends in any way possible.
Battle of Paleto Bay
Abi, along with Rizzle, Smack, Andre, Benny, David & Victoria devised a plan to ambush the Cartel, with the premise of Rizzle bringing Abi in as a prisoner. Abi enlisted the help of Dick Richards and Maelard Steirs to assist in the operation. The meeting was set, and on January 25th, Abi & Rizzle stood face to face with two Cartel members in the scrapyard of Paleto. The signal was given, and shots rang out. Abi & Rizzle fled to cover & by throwing molotovs at the Cartel vehicle, left the two Cartel members dead in the explosion. They radioed to their friends telling them to get out, and as they began to flee, the weight of the situation crushed down on them. A convoy of heavily armed vehicles, including an armored helicopter poured into the area, raining down an unending amount of gunfire into the streets of Paleto. The group, now joined by the LSPD, fought off the attackers as well as they could, though they were heavily outgunned, so Abi & friends fled back into the city, gathering on a hilltop overlooking Bolingbroke.
There they reflected on their fortune at getting out of the area, taking a well deserved moment to gather themselves and breathe. After receiving medical care at Pillbox, the group noticed that Rizzle was no longer with the group. Abi feared the worst & took off north heading back into the firefight and when she arrived back into Paleto, she was met with silence. She texted Dryver & Immelmann who had both been in the fight. They had gotten out, with the help of Rizzle. She continued to search the area, and was soon told by Immelmann that they’d had shots fired near a pier off Great Ocean Highway. She rushed there and as she reached the end of the drive, there she saw Rizzle, laying in an enormous pool of blood. She collapsed at his side, tears streaming freely down her cheeks. All she could do was watch the medics cover his body, muttering to herself “It was all for nothing”
Aftermath & Breakdown
In the weeks that followed, Abi tried to lay low, keeping to the shadows. Tragically, Abi was eventually located by Cartel scouts and was again under threat. It was then that Abi began to show signs of her impending mental breakdown, making erratic paranoid calls to former customers whom she thought were threatening Smack. Eventually this paranoia came to a head when, believing she’d been betrayed, Abi stabbed Smack. Luckily, Smack recovered, however Abi’s mental state continued to decline, eventually leading to a full breakdown at Pillbox when she stabbed Detective Jack Powers. Abi was taken into custody & sent to Bolingbroke. Once released, Abi had another episode, running off into the night, finally being found after being attacked by a mountain lion.
Smack was furious that Abi was pushing her, along with all her friends, away and in a rage told her that if Abi was so intent on dying, she would no longer try to stop her. Smack left Abi with Andre. The next morning Abi checked into Parsons Rehabilitation Center where she was held for 4 days. Andre remained at her side.
While at Parson’s Abi spent time reflecting on recent events. She reached out to Smack and asked for her to visit. The meeting was tense and they were both quite guarded. Smack expressed her frustrations , as did Abi. Slowly but surely, the walls came down and the gentleness with which they usually presented toward each other reappeared. They vowed again never to part, and feeling very brave and sure of their love, Abi asked Smack to be her wife. Smack agreed. And so they decided, right then and there, that they were married, no document or ceremony necessary.
Final Days
Abi spent the last week of her life enjoying time with Smack and Andre. On the afternoon of February 6th, Andre took Abi to the top of the crane just off Vespucci Boulevard. There as they stood in the breeze, he knelt, took out a ring and asked if she had room in her life for a husband as well. Abi, without hesitation, said “of course”. As they stood there, basking in their moment of happiness, the crane was buzzed by a Cartel plane. Once again, they found themselves under attack.
They were able to flee & take refuge in an unlikely location, the arcade at the pier. There, Smack , Andre & Abi enjoyed some lighthearted fun together. After they felt the coast was clear, they decided to relocate. As they reached the bridge to Bay City Avenue, they saw two bugstars vans blocking the way. They all froze in their tracks, knowing exactly what this meant. As they stood staring down the blockade, Andre turned to Abi, said “I love you” and began to approach. Abi tried, in vain, to call him back on the radio but before she could receive any reply, the vans exploded. Andre was gravely injured and rushed to Pillbox.
As Abi waited outside the operating room, a Cartel member, posing as a nurse, came in, pulled a gun and shot Andre in the head. Abi stood there in shock. Then she started running. With Smack at her side, she fled north on Great Ocean Highway, and upon reaching the spot where Rizzle was killed, she stopped. As Smack at the top of the path for Abi, Abi knelt upon the spot where she found Rizzle. The whirring sound of a helicopter broke the silence. And as Abi stood up, she came face to face with the leader of the Cartel, Romeo’s sister. They beckoned Smack down to join Abi, and as they approached, they were gunned down by the helicopter’s turret. Abi stood silent. She turned to see a gun pointed at her. She did not fight, she did not cry, she looked directly at her killer and said “Just do it already”. A single shot rang out and Abi fell to the ground dead, the blood spreading quickly from the hole in her heart.
