Background

Duke Anderson was born and raised in a small town in Michigan, where he grew up with a strong sense of justice and a desire to make a difference in the world. As a child, he was inspired by his father, who served as a police officer in their hometown. Duke admired his father's dedication and commitment to protecting their community, and he knew from an early age that he wanted to follow in his footsteps.

From a young age, Duke displayed exceptional physical and mental capabilities. He excelled in academics and sports, developing a reputation for being disciplined, determined, and always striving for excellence. These traits, combined with his deep-seated desire to serve and protect, shaped his ambition to become a law enforcement officer.

After completing his education spending almost 10 years in college having a great time, Duke made the bold decision to leave his small town behind and head to the bustling city of Los Santos. He was drawn to the city's reputation for crime and corruption, seeing it as an opportunity to challenge himself and make a significant impact. Duke believed that by becoming a Law Enforcement Officer, he could contribute to cleaning up the streets and making the city a safer place for its residents.

Current Day

Immediately after moving to Los Santos Duke applied to become a police officer, in his interview he said his greatest weakness is that "he has to sleep and can't be a cop all the time", he was hired after his interview by the Los Santos Police Department and completed his Cadet training in the next few days being trained by Seargent Rebecca Armitage, Commissioner Sid Hunter, Captain Fran Hart, and Lieutenant Veronica Hudson. Ultimately preferring the County, due to the similarities to his hometown in Michigan, he quickly transferred to Blaine County Sheriffs Office as the first of their Deputies toward the end of his first week on the force. During his time in the department he has taken up under the learning tree of the Commanding officers always trying to Adam up with them to grow his skillset, frequently riding with the Sheriff James Kapow to perform tests of equipment, Special Investigations, and even just regular patrolling. Duke also used to enjoy riding and partnering up with Ashley Storm on patrol until she jumped ship to the LSPD in what Duke feels was a huge betrayal, to pursue a Gang Task Force.

Duke fought with the BCSO alongside the LSPD during the War on Los Santos on September 8th, 2023 helping to push the Cartel out of the city and eventually Sandy Shores, during the conflict he sustained many injuries and was placed in the ICU for 3 days. Due to the tragic loss of Deputy Lieutenant Jack Dryver in the Cartel's War on Los Santos, he has begun working closely with the Sheriff in establishing the Counter Terrorism Unit for the BCSO, so that no other officer needs to suffer the same fate.

Personal Life

Since coming to the city Duke was all about his job rarely taking time to enjoy the city as a civilian because he wanted to be the best cop he could be, only notably spending time gambling while off duty in the casino, sometimes for whole weekends. Realizing that while he is a good cop, that isn't the only thing in life that matters because when a training exercise with the Sheriff went poorly and they crashed in their plane luckily making it out with minor injuries, Duke realized he had nothing worth going home safely to after a shift. Duke began to spend more time enjoying off-duty life once becoming a Sergeant, during this time he met Elena Castillo and after a short time of dating proposed on a Yacht off the shore of Paleto after a day of jet skiing the Northern Ocean.

Personality

Duke is a damn good cop.
