Background

A Dark Past

Frank was born in a small village in Lanarkshire to Joseph Delaney and Sigrid Delaney. His father Joseph came from a Irish Catholic upbringing while Franks Mother Sigrid came from a long line of Viking decent originating in Norway.

Throughout Franks childhood his parents often had huge disagreements on how Frank should be brought up either by his fathers proper Catholic principles or his Mothers more non-religious approach. Frank found his mothers heritage very interesting and spent most of the time reading up on Viking history. So much so Frank used to go out in his teenage years and randomly pick a fight with people his own age as he believed it to be honourable and would be making his ancestors proud.

Frank gained quite a reputation for himself jumping from one Young Offenders Institute to the next. His parents losing all control over their only child. After 3 years in and out of the institutes Frank at the age of 16 Frank was back living with his parents. Due to his nature of violence Franks parent Joseph and Sigrid would stay up to all hours arguing whether Frank should be allowed to stay under their roof.

One evening Frank lay in bed and couldn't help but overhear his parents screaming at one another and all of a sudden he heard a terrifying scream from his mother so Frank rushed down the stairs to find his Mother curled into a corner in the kitchen with his dad standing over her. Frank warned his Dad to back off. His dad refused. Frank then reached for the solid oak chopping board and struck his dad over the face causing him to bundle to the ground. Frank by this point went into a fit of rage repeatedly striking his Father with the edge of the chopping board causing major injury. This was met by even more cries of fear from his mother. Frank stood back realising what he had done and then proceed to march upstairs and pack a bag and left home. This time for good.

Many Years had passed and Frank was touching 40 years old. He never knew was came of his Fathers injuries or what happened to his Mother. Frank cut all contact completely and was even unsure if they were still living or not. Frank was going from Job to job. He worked as a labourer, Railway Worker, Car part courier and then a Motorbike Salesman. None of these jobs could keep Franks attention so Frank decided to head on a flight over to a city called Los Santos.
