Background
Born into a military family in London, England, Jay "Hux" Huxley's upbringing was marked by the disciplined environment enforced by his father, Lance Huxley, an established officer in the Royal Air Force. However, Jay's ambitions diverged from the family tradition, as he decided to go into his own career in law enforcement.
His decision to join the metropolitan police caused tension within his family, leading to arguments between his parents, Lance and Lily. Determined on his own career, Jay made the life-altering choice to relocate to Los Santos, a city his mother had once had spoken about in connection to a past love affair.
In Los Santos, Jay found solace and opportunity, welcomed by an old friend who held a prominent position as Chief of Police. This friend extended Jay an offer to join the force as a Police Officer 2, propelling him into a career marked by achievement.
Jay's tenure in the police force saw him rise through the ranks, earning accolades for his numerous successful arrests and dedication tohis role. Along the way, he found love and companionship in Mel Rose.
As Jay's reputation and leadership qualities became evident, he ascended to the position of leader within the SAHP division and later earned promotion to Lieutenant under the leadership of Police Chief Jon Taffer. However, the dangers of the job & threats made to his and Mel's safety, prompted Jay to take a temporary retirement to focus on his well-being and recovery.
Upon his return to duty, Jay's commitment and expertise were recognised with a promotion to Commander within the Police Department, working under the guidance of Chief Robert Maxwell. Following Chief Maxwell's sudden departure, Jay found himself under the leadership of Chief Greg Summers, who appointed him as Assistant Chief, entrusting him with pivotal responsibilities in shaping the future of the Los Santos Police Department.
Together with Chief Summers, Jay Huxley is dedicated to fostering growth within the department and strengthening partnerships with the community, including collaboration with the Blaine County Sheriff's Office. Their shared vision emphasises effective law enforcement while prioritizing positive engagement with the citizens of Los Santos.
