Background

Celeste was born on the 1st of April in 1999 in a small town with her single mother Delilah. Constantly stressed about making ends meet, Delilah never had time to truly give Celeste the childhood she wanted. Instead Celeste was doing anything she could to help her mother, constantly worrying about whether the lights would be on the next month.

Learning to fend for herself at a young age, Celeste quickly adapted to her new life of inconsistency. Never really having anyone to lean on, she did her best to stay on her feet and out of trouble. Always trying to see the best in people, she often was burned by those taking advantage of her kindness.

Arriving in Los Santos

After a strained relationship with her mother, Celeste left home when she turned 18 and never looked back. Luckily early on in her time in Los Santos, she fell into a group of close-knit friends who kept her out of trouble of which include Gabriel Moretti, her best friend (and eventually adopted cousin) who taught her how to race and overall kept her alive for the better part of their time with each other.

Eventually after a long period of having no one to really call family Celeste got close with The Moretti's, more specifically Antonio Moretti and Vito Moretti. Spending more and more time with them, Celeste found that she needed someone she could rely on in her corner and Vito quickly filled the fatherly role she had been missing growing up. After weeks of joking about Celeste being Vito's long lost daughter, he finally asked if she wanted to be adopted into the Moretti family.

Now with a family to protect her, she found it easier to settle into life as she knew someone would be there to have her back. Shortly after feeling more settled and safe, Celeste accepted a job at UwU Cafe and worked her way up to her current role as a Chef.

While settling into her job at UwU and trying to live a normal life, Celeste received unfortunate news that her adoptive father, Vito Moretti was diagnosed with lung cancer. The idea of losing her adoptive father so soon after becoming a part of his family was a huge emotional stress for Celeste.

In the midst of all the chaos, Celeste found herself growing closer to Ben Doon, a Lieutenant for the Los Santos Police Department. An unlikely partner, but one Celeste couldn't have asked for at a better time. Celeste and Ben's relationship soon blossomed into more and they started dating secretly for a short time before eventually gaining the blessing of her uncle Antonio.

Battle of Paleto Bay

The day of the battle in Paleto Bay, Celeste was ordered by her uncle to be within the safety of Pillbox Medical Center with her then boyfriend, Ben Doon who had been critically injured days before while on duty with the Los Santos Police Department. The entirety of her family was gearing up to take on the biggest threat they had faced yet, The Cartel. A few days before the battle, Doon prompted Celeste with an ultimatum of if she went to Paleto to help her family, they would be over. Cut to what seemed like hours of silence from her family the day of the battle, Celeste finally got word from Rizzle that Paleto was a warzone and that he didn't know if any of her family members were still alive. Without a second thought, Celeste jumped in a car with Rizzle and David towards the impending doom that hung over Paleto Bay.

Showing up to a warzone of heavily armed vehicles and machinery, Celeste realized how heavily unprepared she was for the scene in front of her, and her only thoughts were getting her family out. Scattered in an alley way, she found most of her family crouched behind dumpsters and other buildings attempting to fight the unending gunfire from all sides. Obtaining a vehicle and mustering her strength, with the help of a few unlikely friends, Celeste managed to throw a few of the Moretti's in a car and get them out of Paleto with minor injuries.

Once arriving back into the safety of Pillbox, whilst watching her family attempt to recoup from their obvious loss in Paleto, Celeste realized the magnitude of the situation her family had gotten themselves into. Many patched wounds and sighs of relief later, the Moretti family had made it through the day and lived to tell the tale, but at what cost?

Life After Paleto

In an attempt to return to life as normal after the incident at Paleto Bay, Celeste was left feeling on edge and confused. After breaking her promise to Doon she realized that her families ties would make her relationship too complicated and so she ended things. Needing space to figure out where she fit within her families ranks was a challenge she wasn't yet ready to face, and so she buried herself in work. Her cousin, Gabriel, made sure that she was always safe and protected no matter how silly Celeste thought it was some days. The looming threat of The Cartel was enough to keep all of the Moretti boys on their toes.

Quickly rising through the ranks at UwU Cafe, Celeste jumped from Chef to Supervisor and eventually Manager. She found a sense of peace serving the citizens of Los Santos. Getting closer to Mel Rose, the owner of the Cafe, Celeste found not only a boss but her best friend. Falling into her routine at the cafe, Celeste felt at home and thoughts of the Cartels looming presence seemed to disappear. Eventually an Australian Lawyer made his way into the Cafe and he stole Celeste's heart from their first conversation. Harrison Specter was a kind man who infatuated her from the start with his sly compliments and accent. After a few weeks and a few dates, Celeste and Harrison became a couple and were practically inseparable. From treasure hunts to matching outfits, Harrison and Celeste were all in. After a few months, they decided to make a big change and not only move in together but they became business partners.

Little Italy

Harrison and Celeste cultivated a menu of authentic Italian dishes from family recipes Celeste had received from her uncle before they moved back to Italy on family business. Whilst they had the keys to the building for months, Little Italy, their Italian restaurant located across from Ten Pins, had yet to open it's doors to the public.
