After 10 years of military service he decided to leave and take up work in his hometown in Glasgow as an office worker after his father passed away.

He then began working towards his citizenship with his Medical Skills being a key part for moving to Los Santos.
During his first few months in Los Santos, Ben took on a Trucking Job whilst he settled into the city and then applied as a first responder in EMS. Ben quickly moved up the ranks of EMS and also continued his studies to earn his doctorate in medicine in LS. After a few years in the varies roles, Ben took on a temporary backfill position as Chief of EMS, which he was then promoted into fulltime after exceeding expectations while in the caretaker position.
During Ben's tenure as Chief of EMS, he spent his time working with the community to build awareness of EMS and the services provided to patients. He also took part in multiple recruitment drives to expand the departments across Medical and Fire and continues to do so till this day.
