Outward Appearance
Ashley is a young, charismatic and energetic woman with long red hair who she often wears in a bun. She will often be seen wearing more casual LSPD uniforms, preferring polos and t-shirts, in the rare event she's seen off-duty she prefers wearing her trusty green jacket.
Ashley's face and neck are scarred from various injuries sustained while on-duty.
Childhood and teens
Ashley's childhood was filled with bumps in the road, her father was an addict, a fact she tries her hardest to conceal, however this didn't stop her from having a decent relationship with him. When she was nine her parents separated and she slowly began realizing what a terrible father she had, slowly her former admiration turned to bitterness. Ashley struggled for a while with her past and who she was, finally finding a sense of being while she was in high school, she found her passion for literature, she took up writing and used it to escape her everyday life. While in high school she also spent her free time as a police explorer with the Little Rock Police Department, sparking her interest in becoming a police officer.
Time in the army
When Ashley turned 18 she enlisted in the United States Army, after completing basic training she got the offer to attend jump school and become a paratrooper, she pondered for a while if it was truly what she wanted to do before she decided to attend the school. Upon completing she spent a short time as an enlisted soldier before applying to Officer Candidate school. Later in her Army career she deployed to Iraq, a fact she keeps secret even from the people closest to her, during her time oversees she took part in many patrols, on one particular patrol in Northern Iraq her platoon came under fire and the Humvee she was in was hit with an RPG, she escaped the encounter with minor wounds from shrapnel, upon completion of her tour she spent another year in the army before being honorably discharged.
Present Day
After discharging from the army Ashley moved to Los Santos to start a new life, her first job was with the BCSO attaining the rank of Senior Deputy, while she was a deputy she met her fiancée, the two own a house in Paleto Bay, she applied for the BCSO, where she currently serves, she now spends her time working the Southside of Los Santos and Blaine County, when she is off-duty she enjoys going for scenic motorcycle rides down Great Ocean Highway.
