Alex Quinn was born in Armadillo, New Austin. In the 1980s when the oil industry fell and jobs were taken west, Armadillo fell into poverty, being a run down large town where criminals ruled. Her father was given life in prison for a series of murders when Alex was just a year old, leaving her mom to raise her alone.
When Alex when 12, she would hang around the local mechanic shop since it was one of the safer places she felt she could hang out since her mother was always gone from working multiple jobs. Because of her small hands and arms, she was recruited to help the mechanics work on vehicles that were hard to work on, growing her love for working on cars and bikes.
She would come to learn that many of these mechanics were part of a motorcycle club known as Los Gatos Muerta, which meant The Death Cats. Due to Alex's willingness to help drive their truck or van for jobs, her aptitude at lockpicking and observational skills, and of course her personality, she was invited to join the MC.
She found a proper family that watched over her while she watched over them. After several years, she was promoted to Tail Gunner, a position in the MC which rides in the back of the formation, keeping watch behind them, assisting other riders who may have mechanical or other issues, while also providing defense for the riding formation.
Proving herself time after time for dangerous jobs, she was brought in to help plan a big hit on Galliban Construction, a massive construction company that was brought into the city to build brand new expansions of high scale housing and new office buildings as the tech industry was booming in Armadillo.
Due to her better skills at being a guard, she assigned herself as Overwatch, set up across the street from the main offices of the construction site while the rest of the MC went inside to steal from the safes and computer. However, what they didn't count on was that Galliban had ties with the Pinkertons and they had been watching their offices. The Pinkertons swarmed the place and a firefight broke out. Of the ten members of the MC inside, six were killed, the other four arrested and due to connections to other jobs and using RICO, the four were put away for life, leaving Alex and the prospect who was set up as watch near her, were left.
Visiting the club president in prison, he told Alex to run away from Armadillo, that Los Gatos Muerta was done and she should find herself a better life. She gathered what little she owned from their clubhouse before burning it down to the ground based on his instruction, got on a bus and went to Los Santos.
She had no idea where life would take her. What she would do for a living or if she would continue a life of crime. But it seemed Lady Luck had never abandoned her, and when she arrived in the city, she ran into Jamie McCallister. He gave her a ride to PDM, giving her a tour of the city, and meeting up with Gianna. She talked about her past with Jamie and Gianna, and as luck would have it both of them had connections that would align with her experience. They both bought a WMC Bagger as her first bike and got her a job at King's Autos. From there, she made a name for herself as a great mechanic and a woman with a silver tongue, befriending most people of the city and showing she had no respect for the law. Her efforts and dedication gained the attention of The Lost MC, who offered her to join as a Hangaround, and after she proved herself then, she was sponsored in as a Prospect by Douglas Davidson.
In August 2023, she was contact by a lawyer, that her uncle had passed away and in his will, he left Alex his abandoned bar in Grapeseed. With some cleaning and fixing up, she opened up her own dive bar; The Black Lantern
After the Cartel attack on the PD at the start of September, something inside of Alex's mind snapped, the beginning of her mental downfall. She started to hear voices, something she has told no one. She heard a call of madness, a call of Chaos. She tried to gather a group of people, to start a family, but even that failed her, driving her further into madness.
The final crack in her sanity was the news of Jamie McCallister's death. She did not know who killed him, but to her, it no longer mattered. The "city", which she now perceived as a living breathing thing, had turned on her. It hurt her in a way that would do the most damage; it left her truly alone.
Now, all alone, she surrendered to the only thing she had left anymore: The Voice. The Call. The Madness.
The Chaos.
Alex is very charismatic, willing to talk to anyone that isn't a police officer and even then, she gets them talking so she can gleam information.
She is fiercely loyal to The Lost, to her friends and her new girlfriend Rhiannon Walker. She is always itching for a fight or committing crime, using both her sharp wit and her thick combat boots.
She is always willing to help others without asking for anything in return because she feels her whole life is where it's at because the same thing, both in Armadillo and in Los Santos, was given to her.
Once those close to her, Bernie, Draco, Jamie, had died, did Alex finally break. She is now cold and emotionless. What goes on in the mind of hers is something no one can fathom.
