Background

Keith Denton, known as Smokey on the streets, is a stoner who moved to Los Santos because he heard they have the best weed. Smokey was born Keith Anderson, and is the fraternal twin brother of Duke Anderson, they always got along fine until one day late into senior year of High School their dad, a cop in their small hometown, once found Duke's weed in their room and sent Keith to sit in jail for a night for it since Duke was too scared to say it was his, and since Keith was no rat he didn't turn on his brother but he no longer respected him. When he was being taken to jail his dad mockingly called him "Smokey" the whole ride there, giving him his nickname and also inspiring his hatred for cops, since his own father would do this to him over a plant. He shortly thereafter would leave his town once graduating, changing his name the Keith Denton legally, after Seth Rogen's character from Pineapple Express. He then went on to college where he finished his degree in Chemistry with a minor in Botany, driven by the idea that if he's a stoner to people then he's going to be the best stoner he can be. He loves the color green because it is the same color as weed. He wants to one day have a whole field of weed he engineers and grows so he can smoke the perfect joint.

Current Day

Smokey was in the city for a few days before meeting Forum Drive Families he hung around them because, like him, they wore green. After hanging around and helping the Family in some petty crimes and helping fight in the ongoing war versus the Los Vagos he was officially made a member on 9/5/23.

War with Los Aztecas

One evening Smokey went to check out a tip about tags going up on the Forum Drive turf of the Hardware store in the South Side he arrived to see "Aztecas on Top" painted on the wall and while taking a picture was rolled up on by the Aztecas while alone. After some words were exchanged Smokey and Cedro Herrara fought in the parking lot and after getting beat down was told to deliver a message by Headlocke that they were looking to expand into Forum's turf and was shot and left for medics to retrieve.
